WITs is committed to making its website and mobile applications usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. Requesting help after a workplace injury must never be blocked by an inaccessible interface, so accessibility is treated as a safety requirement, not a nice-to-have.
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across the marketing site, company portal, and mobile apps. New features are reviewed against these criteria before release, and existing screens are remediated as issues are found.
Our interfaces use semantic markup, sufficient color contrast, visible focus states, and text alternatives for meaningful imagery. Critical flows — requesting a technician, the triage questionnaire, and the 911 escalation screen — are prioritized for screen reader and keyboard testing.
The iOS app is built to support VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, and Reduce Motion settings. Emergency-path screens use large tap targets and plain language so they remain usable under stress and in industrial environments.
Live map tracking views may have limited screen reader affordances today; equivalent status information (technician name, distance, ETA) is always presented as text alongside the map. We are working to close remaining gaps and update this page as they are resolved.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere in our products, contact accessibility@wits.example or call (800) 555-0148. Please include the page or screen involved; we aim to respond within two business days and to remediate verified issues promptly.
